COLLECTION DAY , a forward factor along the inner rail down the backstretch, moved up between horses leaving the far turn, swung to the five path in upper stretch, closed outside, too the lead inside the sixteenth pole and drove clear. YODEL E. A. WHO , five deep entering the first turn, advanced four deep leaving the far turn, gained the lead in upper stretch and gave way grudgingly. VANZZY , four wide entering the first turn, stalked the pace, took a three wide lead leaving the far turn and gave way in mid stretch. WINOOSKI , void of speed, swung to the six path in upper stretch and passed tired rivals. WHITING FIELD , steadied in close quarters leaving the starting gate, made the lead and moved to the inner rail entering the backstretch, remained along the rail and gave way on the far turn. BOOK RUNNER bore out leaving the starting gate, prompted the pace down the backstretch, challenged for the lead between horses leaving the far turn and gave way in upper stretch. LONG ASTRIDE trailed and drifted to the seven path in upper stretch.
