Chart notes
WYOMING CLASS broke slowly and was well back to the far turn, swung to the six path at the head of the stretch, closed smartly under energetic uging, took command inside the sixteenth pole and drew clear. FALFURRIAS prompted outside ACADEMY, overtook that one leaving the far turn and went clear in upper stretch, finished willing but was no match for the winner. ACADEMY assumed the early lead, set the pace near the inner rail, lost the advantage leaving the far turn and gave way through the stretch. BOLT FROM ABOVE , jostled on both sides leaving the starting gate, was well positioned in the two path on the far turn then gave way. SMUGGLER'S GOLD bumped with BOLD FROM ABOVE leaving the starting gate, was taken to the inner rail soon after, remained along the rail and gave way on the far turn. SOBIESKI bumped BOLT FROM ABOVE at the start, chased outside horses down the backstretch then dropped back.
