Chart notes
LITTLE SASS , with the pace three deep and in hand, took over nearing the three eighths, dueled outside WAMPUS KITTEN from mid turn to upper stretch, was driven clear near mid stretch, kept on under strong handling past the sixteenth marker then was taken in hand for the final yards. WILDWOOD QUEEN , within range off the inside, pursued three deep mid turn, shifted out four wide for the drive and gave game chase to the wire. WAMPUS KITTEN , brushed at the break, was sent up between runners to contest the early pace, inherited the inside leaving the far turn, battled into the lane then gave way grudgingly through the final seventy yards. ORNERY ANGEL vied early inside, could not quite quicken with the leaders leaving the far turn, stayed around to pursue, altered out leaving mid stretch and finished up with good effort. MAMBA OUT rated behind an embattled trio through the opening quarter, eased out some and stalked between horses mid turn, shifted out for the drive but came up empty. LONG TALL WOMAN , off slowly, failed to get involved.
