LEWIS THE ROBBER raced off the pace, advanced inside on the far turn, moved up behind horses in upper stretch, angled inside, rallied on the rail at the furlong marker, closed willingly to a short lead and edged away late, driving. BILLY WHITE SHOES (IRE) raced off the pace, moved up two wide on the far turn, raced behind horses in upper stretch, angled out and closed well late outside. MIDDLEBURG was bumped and steadied entering the first turn, settled off the pace, advanced inside on the far turn, rallied on the rail entering the stretch, bid and was outkicked. COUNTRY CHARLIE raced two wide off the pace, saved ground on the far turn and rallied mildly late on the rail. MISTER WOODFORD set the pace on the inside, opened up a clear lead, showed the way into the stretch, responded, dug in and weakened late. THE COMMACK KID raced off the rail, off the pace, chased three wide on the far turn and closed belatedly outside. MIAMI KAZ raced four wide early, then stalked inside, chased on the far turn and tired.
