Chart notes
NEOLITHICA vied outside for the lead, took over on the turn, dueled past the quarter pole, turned back the bid from PEAK OF CHIC, drew clear and held well under urging. LASTCHANCE ROMANCE tracked inside, chased on the turn, rallied outside in the stretch run and came up second best. PEAK OF CHIC steadied after the start, stalked outside, bid on the turn, dueled briefly with the winner passing the quarter pole, then weakened and held on for third. VICOUNTESS raced off the pace, chased on the turn, lacked a bid and finished evenly. QUERY steadied at the start, rushed up inside to contest the pace, vied inside, chased and faded. DANCING CHIME clipped heels and stumbled at the nine sixteenths marker losing the rider, walked off after. After a Stewards' Inquiry the race was declared official.
