Chart notes
EKATI'S WAY tracked the early pace setter three wide, bid for command just after the seven sixteenths, fought hard down the lane to repel the opposition for a determined victory. VILLIAN was allowed to settle after the start, was cued five wide through the far turn, rallied into reaching distance by the sixteenth but was repelled by the winner. OBI KENOBI was reluctant to load the gate, got squeezed back at the start, never threatened. ONIRICO chased the pace in the early stages, was roused four wide in the far turn, angled in towards the two path of the stretch but came up empty. SPELLCAST was sent to the lead before the first turn just off the rail, continued up the backstretch until relinquishing command to a couple of bidders at the seven sixteenths, repositioned into the four path rounding the far turn but lacked a closing bid. SILENCE trailed distantly for most, found best stride late. JUST LIKE RAMBO broke alertly but opted to concede the early command to an inside foe before the first turn, chased that foe up the backstretch form the two path, reclaimed the lead at the seven sixteenths but was overtaken by EKATI'S WAY just a moment after, pressed that rival until weakening in the final furlong. BIG TRUCK settled, failed to menace.
