Chart notes
COWBOY AT HEART tracked the dueling leaders four wide down the back stretch, took aim three deep leaving the quarter pole, on even terms outside CAMP DAVID leaving the furlong marker, fought on hard through the lane, determined refused defeat up under the wire. CAMP DAVID broke sharp, dueled two wide into the far turn, forged a slim lead leaving the quarter pole, hooked once again turning for home, battled inside COWBOY AT HEART through the lane, dug in gamely, conceded grudgingly under the wire. MACRON balked at the start, rated off the pace down the backside, quickened stride weaved in and out traffic around the far turn, tipped out four wide for clean run into the lane, chased on willingly for the show. RIDICULOUS drafted inside just off the dule, took aim leaving the quarter pole, steadied when trying to avoid injured foe nearing the furlong marker, regrouped into the lane, improved position through the final stages. CAYENNE CREEK raced off the pace four wide, bid outside rivals around the far turn, had no late response. NOBALLSTWOSTRIKES trailer down the backside, upped the pace off the rail around the far turn, pinched off stride, when HIGH STRIKE was eased leaving the furlong marker, came up empty late. SMOOTH RICO sent into the first turn, dueled inside into the far turn, gave way from the quarter pole. HIGH STRIKE pressed the duel three wide into the far turn, under pressure leaving the quarter pole, eased out approaching the furlong marker, left the track via the equine ambulance.
