Chart notes
SWEET TREASURE went quickly to the fore shifting in nearer but off the fence to dictate terms, was moderately challenged past the three-eighths by an outside foe then just headed by an inside rival coming into upper stretch, was put to strong urging dueling outside that rival, edged away past the furlong marker then held. PROCTOR STREET was between foes into the first turn off the leaders, eased back shifting in nearer but off the fence for the run up the backstretch, saved ground on the far turn, came out in upper stretch, gained steadily but slowly in deep stretch but was too late. VINA ARANA (IRE) shifted in heading to the first turn, took up position along the inside saving ground tracking the leader, was urged past the five-sixteenths, cut the corner inside the leader making a bid at the top of the stretch, dueled briefly but had no extra to match strides with the top pair. IN THE STARS settled while shifting in on the first turn racing off the pace, moved out up the backstretch, took the wide route fanning seven deep into upper stretch, kept on. MEDORO stalked from outside off the leaders racing three to four wide, moved under urging five deep past the five-sixteenths coming into upper stretch six wide, evened out in the lane. FAVORITE MEMORY (GB) lacked early speed despite some encouragement from the break, trailed well back, came out in the stretch and ran on with late interest. PIN UP BETTY stalked the eventual winner from outside, edged closer three furlongs out, was put to an all-out drive at the five-sixteenths but weakened.
