Chart notes
DREWMAZING was rated along the inside, shifted out three wide in the upper stretch, sustained a rally under steady encouragement. MCLAREN VALE was unhurried at the start, loomed six wide through the turn to enter the stretch in a prominent position, continued to close down the lane but came up just short. WILD BERT found early position four wide around the middle of the pack, showed a mild rally down the stretch to earn the show award. LOUDERMILK moved up to press the early pace setter, took charge just after the three eighths marker, fought hard to maintain his lead in the stretch but was out-finished in the final yards. STOMPING HOTROD settled off the pace, failed to menace. CATALINA DAY was away swiftly, faced pressure from LOUDERMILK shortly after the start until giving way midway through the turn, flattened out in the stretch. COURTMAN was rated five wide, lacked a response in the turn, trailed by the quarter, passed tiring foes. WESTERN AVENUE was between runners mid pack, showed little. BELLO CREEDO stalked the early pace three wide, retreated after the quarter pole.
