Chart notes
COMMENDATORE set the pace inside the two path, came under pressure from just off the rail when challenged passing the three-eighths pole, battled on stubbornly with an outer foe while angling out to the four path entering the stretch, and drew away in the final sixteenth. EZ ORB NOT bumped with an outer foe at the start, stalked in the four path, loomed up to bid in the three path passing the three-eighths pole, was cued midway around the turn, ran on while battling with an inner rival from the six path into the stretch, but evened out in the final sixteenth to be second best. NOBLE PRIDE tracked early, was coaxed along in the three path around the turn, floated out to the five path at the top of the stretch, then faded, but was clearly best of the rest. MR. AVENTUS bumped with an inner foe at the start, raced off the pace, was coaxed along the inside around the turn, but did not threaten. GIVE IT TIME was prompted from up close in the three path early but retreated around the turn.
