Chart notes

IF NOT FOR LUCK was slow into stride, trailed in the four path, was driven around the turn, swung from the five path into the lane, and rallied to get up in the final strides. BANNEKER set the pace in the two path, was cued passing the quarter, kicked on in the three path down the lane, but got edged out in the closing stages. NIC'S BRO tracked in the two path, was roused passing the three-eighths mark, and kept on between foes from the four path down the lane for show. THREE ZERO bumped with an inner foe at the start, raced in range along the inside, was roused from the rail midway around the turn, but finished evenly down the stretch. RACHEL'S COACH bumped with an outer foe at the start, stalked in the three path, was cued in the two path passing the quarter, but flattened from the three path down the stretch. MAITRE D raced up close in the two path, lost ground between foes passing the quarter, then gave way in the stretch.
