SOMESUGARNSPICE bumped at the start, trailed the field down the backside, pressed off the pace four wide into the lane, came up empty late. PETTY PERFECT broke alertly, pressed between runners in the second flight down the back stretch, roused on three wide leaving the quarter pole, had no late response.
