Chart notes
BAYTOWN BRUISER broke inwardly, set the pace while vying with an outer rival into and around the turn, dueled with that one into the lane, clung to an advantage in midstretch and shook free with a sixteenth to go. TRULY LEGIT vied for the lead outside of the eventual winner and from the three path, dueled with that one entering the lane but hung on his left lead and was turned away at the sixteenth pole. ADMIRAL HALL was put to tight quarters between rivals at the start, tracked two wide and between horses, forged show while chasing into the lane then proved no match for the top pair. VERSED broke outwardly, stalked outside of the top pair and from the four path then gave way entering the lane. YOU AIN'T POPPN chased along the inside, trailed turning for home, moved out to the five path leaving upper stretch and tired.
