Chart notes
BERRY MISCHIEVOUS seized the early advantage, went through the turn under mild pressure from SIX IRON, then responded when set down in the stretch, and drew off late. CURLY'S ONE THING chased in third position early, came under crop midway on the turn, then finished best of the rest to claim second. LAZY Y GIRVIN was unable to keep up early and dropped to the back, stayed on late to improve, but was never a threat. SIX IRON came away well, tracked in second down the backstretch, moved up to put pressure through the turn, then weakened in the stretch. OBVIOUS CONCLUSION was under a ride to keep pace from the start, did not respond to urging, and lacked a finish. SHOP TIME hopped at the start, settled along the rail at the back, and never got involved.
