Chart notes
LUCKY GUEST got away well and quickly moved clear, set the pace near the inside, was given mild encouragement past the quarter pole then asked more thoroughly in upper stretch, responded immediately and drew off. SIDE STREET was lightly bumped at the start, settled outside mid-pack, swung four wide into upper stretch, kept on and surged to secure the place while no threat to the winner. PERFECTWORKS was forwardly-positioned inside in behind the eventual winner tracking, steadied ever so slightly early on the first turn, continued to stalk then was urged along by the five-sixteenths, ran on but lost place late. TUX was lightly bumped into a rival at the start, settled toward the rear two to three wide between foes into the first turn then raced outside up the backstretch, swung five wide into upper stretch, was along to round out the super. BLIND RIVER stalked up close from outside racing mostly two to three wide, was encouraged three furlongs out, weakened in the stretch. DEPUTY CURLIN shifted in heading to the first turn, saved ground both bends racing off the pace near mid-division, was ridden along by the three-eighths but could only go on one-paced. MAD WORLD bobbled just slightly at the start, settled inside at the back, came out a bit in the stretch, made no impact. BOWMAN'S RUN bumped a rival at the start, settled outside at the rear, was never a threat.
