Chart notes
JAWDROPPER stalked the leader up the backstretch, challenged from the three path coming around the turn and kicked clear in the lane. SURELY THE ONE veered in leaving the gate, trailed the field early, came around the turn in the four path and improved position in the stretch. MIDNIGHT CIGARETTE led the way on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the two path, dueled in upper stretch and gave way in the final furlong. MY SWEET ANGEL hopped up leaving the gate, raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, came around the bend in the three path and made up some ground in the lane but never truly threatened. INTO SENSE raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path and was empty in the lane. MAX KRACKIN chased the leader on the outside through the opening quarter, dropped back while saving ground around the bend and continued to tire in the stretch.
