Chart notes
SEVEN P R C pursued the pacesetter outside, took over nearing the eighth pole and edged off driving. BROAD STROKES broke alertly and set the pace, was collared in mid-stretch and yielded. ALWAYS IN PLAY prompted the pace inside then flattened out in the stretch. DAISY BELIEVES lagged far behind then caught stopping rivals. AMERICAN PEACHES saved ground early, moved out in the stretch and lacked a rally. CLASSIC MYSTERY stumbled at the start then trailed throughout.
