Chart notes
SEXAGENARIAN tracked he pace up the backstretch, had to wait for a clear path around the turn, given cue two wide at the head of the lane, engaged the leader in the final furlong, poked a head in front late and held firm. CACTUS LEAGUE sped to the lead at the start, held firm around the turn, continued on top into the lane, felt the winner closing in, came under firm left handed pressure, fought back when challenged but got denied in closing strides. NYQUIST FREQUENCY tracked three to four wide in the opening quarter, raced in striking distance late on the turn, was set down three wide for the drive, was no match for pulling away top pair but ran on and secured a share. ROCKIN HIS SOX OFF was unhurried, saved ground around the turn, given cue along the rail at the head of the lane and improved position without threatening. WOODSPOINT was forwardly placed up the backstretch, remained two wide in contention around the turn then came up empty in the lane. STROLLSMISCHIEF broke awkwardly and came away slowly at the start, raced in the back and failed to move into contention.
