Chart notes
HECTOR pressed the pace to midway on the far turn from three wide, rallied to the lead nearing the quarter pole, responded well in the lane to repel all comers and held gamely. REELED IN stalked the pacesetter from four wide, rallied to challenge turning for home, battled with the winner and was denied in a good try. SHAKIN IT UP LARRY tracked the leaders from the inside to always be in striking distance and rallied up the rail late in the drive to be gaining at the wire. GOLDEN CANDY set the pace under steady pressure to the quarter pole and finished willingly through the lane while outfinished by the top trio. FLETCHER trailed in the compact field the entire way and lacked a closing kick in the lane.
