Chart notes
PIASTRI stalked the pace inside around the first turn, quickened stride bid between runners into the far turn, shook off inside rival leaving the quarter pole, rail position through the lane, fought on with HURRICANE COMIN glued to his outside flank, determined drive refused defeat. HURRICANE COMIN rated around the first turn, methodically advanced outside rivals down the backside, on even terms three wide under a vigorous scrub battled outside PIASTRI into the lane, extended the fight into deep stretch, dug in gamely edged out under the wire. NO KID OF MINE drafted inside just off the top pair down the backside, put to task looped four deep into the lane, stayed on willingly for the show. BUZZ LIGHTFOOT broke sharp, set the pace along the rail under a snug hold into the far turn, herded leaving the quarter pole, faded under pressure through the final sixteenth. CAPTAIN HAMAZING bumped around heading into the first turn, raced off the pace four wide into the far turn, roused five wide leaving the quarter pole, came up empty through the stretch. DOWNTOWN MOTOWN bumped off the pace into the first turn, settled off the pace and well off the rail down the backside, under pressure into the far turn, faltered through the stretch.
