Chart notes
WALK AWAY JOE stalked the dueling leaders, bid three wide to the front at the quarter pole and drew away driving. CHELONIAN vied outside, was collared again by the winner on the turn and continued gamely to the finish. FAST BOB saved ground off the pace, faded on the final turn, moved wide in the stretch with a mild rally. ADMIRAL'S WAVE vied inside to the quarter pole then was in tight tiring at the top of the stretch. CHECKITUP lagged far behind and was never in contention. CATTIN steadied along into the first turn then gave way after half mile. A claim of foul by the fourth finisher against the second finisher for interference at the top of the stretch was denied.
