Chart notes
BENNY'S CANDY MAN raced off the pace from the inside where he cut the corner into the stretch to battle inside of WAR CODE to the wire and prevailed. WAR CODE stalked the pace from three wide before moving up on the turn to engage the leader near the quarter pole and battled down the stretch outside of BENNY'S CANDY MAN to be a game second. LEONIDAS STAND prompted the pace from two wide before engaging the leader near the quarter pole but lacked the late kick but held on for the show. WILLY WILLY sprinted to the front to set the pace before being collared at the quarter pole and was empty in the stretch drive. SOUPER VINNIE reared at the start and raced wide to the turn before tucking in to go three wide around the turn, tipped out to five wide in upper stretch but was not a factor. STOP BEING GREEDY trailed the field and was not a threat.
