Chart notes
UNCLE'S GOLD rated along the inner rail for six furlongs, checked in tight quarters along the inner rail leaving the far turn, swung outside in mid stretch, closed determinedly and was up approaching the finish. PINELAND stayed near the rail stalking the pace, raced in the two path on the far turn, moved to the four path in upper stretch, gained the lead, finished gamely but was not food enough. ELDEST SON , rated between horses, was taken to the four path in upper stretch and finished well. ATLAST (FR) , off slowly when a bit restless in the gate, checked behind the winner leaving the far turn then passed tired rivals. MAGICAL MONDAYS prompted outside DALINAR and weakened in upper stretch. DALINAR made the early lead and moved to the inner rail, remained prominent to mid stretch and weakened. CONTEMPLATION raced in the three path on the turns and failed to rally. WHO'S THE KING , three wide the first turn, stayed between horses on the backstretch and gave way on the far turn.
