Chart notes
CONI'S COUP sped clear early and set a rated pace, moved away under some coaxing past the five sixteenths, entered the lane three wide and was kept alert to very late. DEL RAYO stalked the pace, raced outside a rival near the half, circled four wide into the stretch, gave game chase through the final furlong and out kicked innner foes for the place. JET FLIGHT angled in for the backstretch run, edged up near the half, chased inside a rival past mid stretch and kept on with effort. ELECTRIC CHARGE settled off the pace while saving ground, eased out under a ride for the drive, attempted to move up between runners inside the final furlong then flattened out. STRONGER TOGETHER , three wide early, was under a ride leaving the far turn but failed to generate a rally. ROCKET HOTSHOT lagged back and was outrun. ICE AXE , sluggish from the gate, failed to get involved.
