Chart notes
BARRISTER PROOF bobbled at the start then moved up to dispute the pace with WINDS OF FREEDOM and HANDSOME TICKET, shook them off entering the stretch and increased his advantage. HAWKER was reserved off the pace, came four-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. A SKIP IN THE PARK raced in the back of the field early, rallied six-wide into the stretch, was brushed by ROYAL HALO nearing the eighth pole and was gaining late. PESO was allowed to settle while saving ground, came two-wide into the stretch, altered course mearing the eighth pole and finished well in a steady effort. WINDS OF FREEDOM vied for the lead to neat the stretch and weakened. ROYAL HALO saved ground racing in the middle of the field, came out to brush with A SKIP IN THE PARK nearing the eighth pole and finished willingly. WHISKEY HARBOR saved ground while being unhurried and failed to be a factor. HANDSOME TICKET vied for the early lead from between horses and tired.
