Chart notes
LOUISIANA WILDLIFE broke with the field, tucked in toward the inside in the two path to head up the second flight in the run up the backstretch, continued toward the rail turn, got through into the lane, shifted out a bit then went after the leader nearing the furlong grounds, kicked strongly clear. JAMESY'S EMPIRE with the pace while between foes the opening quarter, dueled through the turn, briefly got clear exiting the turn, drifted out a bit nearing midstretch as the winner came calling, offered a short amount of resistance to that one then proved no match, clearly second best. GYPSY SQUALL within striking distance while widest of the first flight up the backstretch, continued five wide through the turn, lost crop turning into the stretch, could do little with the top pair the final furlong, fully extended to hold the show. JAMAICAN ME off a step slow, raced back while three wide, moved toward the rail entering the stretch, staged a moderate rally up the inside to be gaining for the show. DONEGAL DREAMER also lacked any early speed, came four wide for the drive, improved position a bit while not posing a serious threat. U RASCAL U vied early while four wide, chased the dueling leaders early turn, had little left for the stretch drive. STABLE AGENT flashed brief speed early along the inside, was finished before three furlongs. RANCHO vied early outside the runner up and between horses, dueled with that same rival through the early part of the turn, first to blink by late in the bend and backed up steadily through the lane.
