Chart notes
EVE OF EVE in the second flight early outside, advanced and lodged a bid with a four wide middle move late backstretch, gained the advantage, dueled upper stretch, eventually put that rival away late after a long drive and narrowly withstood a late bid from the runner up. FACTOR OF TIME pressed the pace while three wide, fell back off the dueling leaders into upper stretch, drifted slightly then came back to narrowly miss at the end. RILEYS EMPIRE asked a bit from the gate to show the way into the first turn, set a pressured pace inside, responded when the winner challenged late backstretch, dueled into the lane, proved stubborn until late. SWEET IRON lacked speed off rail, four wide late in the final turn, remained back. PLUM WINE last away, void of speed, asked 5w late second turn, was never a serious threat. TREASURE ME in the second group while inside the winner, three wide into the far turn, gave way in the drive. MARLIN DARLIN a bit restless in the gate, broke with the field, pressed the pace while between foes, gave way before a half, stopped through the lane and reported home well back.
