Chart notes
TIZ GRACE reserved off the pace to the far turn, rallied on the bend circling six wide and prevailed nearing the wire in a determined, well time drive. WHATA MOON dueled on the lead from between rivals to the head of the lane, fought-on the length of the stretch with LEILA MAE, won the battle denying that one in the final sixteenth and lost the war to the closing winner in deep stretch. LEILA MAE pressed the pace from four wide the entire way, battled with the runner-up in the lane taking a brief lead in mid-stretch and was outfinished by the top pair in the final yards in a good effort. MY BOY VANDER tracked the leaders down the backstretch, was called upon on the turn and ran-on through the stretch unable to close the gap. HONOR AND FIRE rushed up the rail overcoming a mediocre break to vie for the lead to the quarter pole and gave way in the lane. MO PEARLS PLEASE broke awkwardly to give the field a couple lengths and was never a factor from there, trailing throughout.
