Chart notes
DONCHO was prominent early then eased back off the lead settling in behind the pace to stalk, came out at the top of the stretch and was encouraged along, struck the lead just past the three-sixteenths, edged away under moderate urging. JOE SHIESTY moved quickly to the lead, set the pace shifting in nearer the inside and shadowed by an outside foe, shook free of that one at the top of the stretch but was thereupon joined by a new rival, fought on inside that one but was no match and just held second. TROUBLESHOOTING got away well, stalked from mid-pack off the inside going two to three wide outside a rival on the turn, was carried out in upper stretch, kept on but missed the place. OKIRO settled into stride at the back, advanced inside into and on the turn, angled five wide turning for home, drifted in a bit in the lane, needed more. MONDOGETSBUCKETS was outsprinted racing outside at the rear, moved in from four to two wide early on the turn before swinging out wide turning for home, was carried out a bit in upper stretch and never got near enough to threaten. SCHWARZMEIER moved forward early to press from outside, raced two to three wide on the turn in contention, was a bit erratic in the lane. SWEET DANI BOY was outpaced early dropping back three wide, shifted nearer the fence into the turn, swung out leaving that bend, failed to rally.
