Chart notes
CAJUN COASTER stalked three wide, closed steadily and wore down SLEWSSONGOFTHENILE, got up near the sixteenth pole and drew clear. SLEWSSONGOFTHENILE broke out, vied two across, inched clear entering the stretch, yielded near the sixteenth pole and finished second best. HMS DIAMOND broke in, raced close to the pace along the inside, bid off the rail to get within range and came up empty late. CHARIOT was never far back, failed to rally and did not threaten. ARCHTOP set a pressured pace to the turn and stopped. KILN MOONSHINE broke in and showed brief speed only.
