Chart notes
CARLIN CONTENTION drifted out into the far turn, had his heels clipped, took over at the quarter pole, drew clear and lasted. TAVERN TIME saved ground off the pace them narrowed gap too late. GOTTA GUY angled four wide after initial quarter then rallied well in the lane. DOCSGOTALLTHECANDY set clear pace, was collared after half mile and faltered. BOYS OF SUMMER dropped back early and stopped losing contact with his field. KUZ IT'S CHILLY clipped heels nearing the far turn and bobbled losing his rider. Following a steward's inquiry into the incident at the far turn, CARLIN CONTENTION was disqualified and placed last.
