Chart notes
CAPTIVATOR sprinted clear and set the pace up the backstretch, patiently handled along the inside on the turn, given his cue at the top of the lane and held well under right handed urging. SANTARENA chased off the rail then between rivals past the half-mile pole, traveled two to three wide on the turn, finished well down the lane and kept gaining on the winner while edging RED FLAG for second. RED FLAG trailed up the backstretch, picked up stride passing rivals in the four path on the turn, rallied in tandem with SANTARENA in the final furlong and could not get by that rival for second. COMEDY TOWN stalked the lone speed outside a rival, crept closer on the turn, was closest in pursuit entering the final furlong but weakened in deep stretch. CANANI tracked outside a rival then three deep into the turn, lost ground in the three path around the bend, tired in the lane and was transported off the track via equine ambulance. I'M A BAD BOY away quickly then took a stalking position, dropped back along the inside on the turn and had little left for the drive.
