Chart notes
SOLO EMPIRE vied two wide for the lead, dueled two wide on the far turn, dug in gamely inside in the stretch run, battled back inside rivals and prevailed late. THAT SUN OF A GUN tracked close up on the inside, tracked on the far turn, moved up two wide at the quarter pole, rallied three wide passing the furlong marker and finished well outside. SON OF A SLEW stalked close up two wide, moved up between rivals on the far turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, gained a short lead, then was outfinished in the final sixteenth. I'M DUE was in tight leaving the chute, then pulled nearing the first turn, settled off the pace inside, came three wide into the lane and lacked a rally. VESPARO raced two wide off the pace, three wide on the backside, continued three wide on the far turn and weakened. PRINCE OF TROY vied inside for the lead, dueled on the far turn and gave way in the stretch.
