Chart notes
KIND SOUL was forwardly placed in early stages, vied outside of GALVANIZER around the turn, battled on gamely down the lane and shook clear late. GALVANIZER led the way in the opening quarter, dueled inside of KIND SOUL around the turn, fought back gamely into the lane but failed to match with the winner late. ADDED TIME veered out at the start, continued wide early off the pace, swung four wide into upper stretch, sustained a steady bid and cleared a share. SAILORMAN was off a step slow at the start, advanced to race off the top flight around the turn, turned for home three wide, lugged in at the head of the lane, came under firm left handed pressure but had no late kick. NO FREE KISSES came away in good order and tracked the early pace, failed to progress under pressure along the inside and flattened out. SHINING EYE raced in the back but was not too far off the pace in the opening quarter, saved ground, had no response and steadily retreated.
