FORGIVING SPIRIT coaxed from the gate, chased five to six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn, went six wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. QUIET WISDOM coaxed from the start, chased along the inside and then just off the inside under urging from three furlongs out, went nine wide into upper stretch, passed tired rivals. MR SKYLIGHT chased along the inside under urging from the seven-sixteenths marker, angled four wide into upper stretch, offered up a bid, then flattened out in the final furlong. STEWIE coaxed from the start, raced five wide in aim of the front, advanced tucked three wide into the turn and took over the front just outside the three-eighths marker, tucked to the two path at that station, tipped three to four wide into upper stretch and came under threat to the outside, got caught just outside the eighth pole, then weakened through to the wire. GATSBY coaxed from the gate, vied inside a pair briefly before easing off to chase along the inside, tipped just off the inside through the turn, went six to seven wide into upper stretch and tired. TIMAEUS chased four then three wide under urging from three furlongs out, tipped five wide at the head of the stretch, tired. SECURED LANDING coaxed from the gate, chased seven paths off the rail down the backstretch and then five wide through the turn, went nine to ten wide into upper stretch and made no impact. OLAZABAL vied from the three path with a pair before emerging briefly to duel with GRAYWING, came under coaxing near the three-eighths displaced from the front in tandem with GRAYWING by STEWIE, tipped three wide for home and tired. GRAYWING vied from the two path with a pair before briefly emerging to duel with the aforementioned foe, came under coaxing near the three-eighths pole when headed for the front by STEWIE, faded through the latter portion of the turn and took the inside route into upper stretch, then faltered in the drive.
