Chart notes
HAPPY DESTINATION moved soon to the lead inside, was shadowed by an outside rival, met that one's challenge at the three-sixteenths and kicked clear, was kept to task. NANINA (GER) got away well, stalked the eventual winner, made a mild bid at the three-sixteenths, was turned back, lugged out a bid in mid-stretch, was no match but clearly second best. MEET ME AT MIDNITE got away slowly, settled at the rear, advanced outside a foe on the turn, shifted in to the rail in upper stretch, rallied inside to get up for show. INESCAPABLE shifted in early, raced up inside a foe but off the fence into and on the turn, came out five to six wide in upper stretch, kept on but needed more. GOLDEN SUNSET broke inwardly, settled into stride off the pace, advanced outside three to five wide on the turn, floated seven wide into upper stretch, needed more late. MISS BRIT tracked the leading pair from inside, came out three to four wide in upper stretch, lacked the needed late kick. MY TURN NOW was forced in at the start, steadied slightly at the five-eighths, saved ground on the turn, was never a threat. LIVELY UP got away well but was quickly outsprinted, chased from outside about three wide into and on the turn, floated six deep leaving that bend, came in a bit in upper stretch then checked near the furlong grounds, faded thereafter. FOLLOWING AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF LIVELY UP AGAINST INESCAPABLE ALLEGING INTERFERENCE NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
