Chart notes
VERRAZANO FIRST pressed the pace three across, dropped back on the turn, was carried out entering the stretch, bid willingly, dueled late and proved best. GOOD SCOUT bumped at the start, stalked the pace along the inside, awaited room on the turn, got through along the rail, bid willingly, dueled late and was outfinished in a game effort. SONNYISNOTSOFUNNY set a pressured pace, drew clear on the turn, responded to duel, hung late and settled for show. MR. CHIVAS broke slowly, rallied three wide on the turn, was within range and lacked the needed late response. ORBITAL STARR bumped at the start, was slow early, closed inside and bumped near the sixteenth pole. SCOTCH NO ROCKS vied between horses to the turn, dropped back, gave way and bumped near the sixteenth pole.
