Chart notes
BLIND EYE raced near the pace into the first turn, settled to mid-pack down the backside tucked in along the rail, saved ground on the final turn, cut the corner turning for home, tipped out two wide for the drive around the leader and prevailed in the drive. DIVER tracked the leaders for three-quarters, rallied turning for home angling four wide splitting rivals in upper stretch and finished well to just miss. MAXIMUM FAITH set the pace under steady pressure through well fractions, responded when called upon at the head of the lane, dug-in gamely through the stretch and was outkicked in the final hundred yards. D'ORO LEMON bumped at the start by rival to the outside, was unhurried for the first half mile, rallied coming home with good late interest. VIA DELLA SPIGA pressed the pace to the far turn, rallied midway on the bend to loom at the quarter pole and weakened in the lane. GIDEON bumped rival to the inside away from the gate, dropped to the rear of the field and passed tiring rivals in the stretch. MAKOA stalked the pace from four wide to three-eighths pole, put in a bid on the bend to be prominent turning for hoem and flattened out unable to sustain the rally in the stretch. KEEN SURGE was not a factor.
