PLEX In hand five wide, tracked four wide into the lane, found the lead and under right handed urging drifted in late bothering RENAISSANCE MAN and then outran the latter to the line. RENAISSANCE MAN Close up five wide early, four wide after a half, took the lead into the final turn, lost the advantage, altered in some, responded to almost reach the leader and then was forced in late by the winner. THE BROWN EGG Set the pace along the three path, was collared at the seven-sixteenths, tracked into the lane and weakened. SAME OLD STORY Unhurried along the three path, four wide into the lane and weakened. SOLO FLIGHT Six wide early, five wide after that and then entered lane three from the rail and tired. KING ROYALE Saved ground and was done early. Inquiry sign was posted along with a claim of foul by the rider of RENAISSANCE MAN against the winner for interference in deep stretch, resulted in the disqualification of PLEX from first to second.
