Chart notes
BROTHER PAUL set a pressured pace while racing off the inside, three wide and moved in to the two path on the turn while shaking clear, then widened the margin to the furlong marker and then remained clear to the wire to prove best, driving. WALKERS BEACH chased the pace from the outside and was four to five wide on the turn, came wide into the lane and ran on well to be clearly second best. CHILLING ZENSATION pressed the winner and then tracked the rival four to three wide on the turn and faded while staying on to best the rest. RINGING FIRE was off slowly, reserved on the outside and raced three to four wide on the turn and had a belated rally. GRINDA was well placed behind the leaders and entered the turn in the two path and moved to the rail on the turn but weakened. CROWN APPLE was reserved on the inside, swung out six wide leaving the turn and never factored.
