Chart notes
GALATOWN GUY drifted out entering the first turn, chased the pace outside horses, was well placed in the four path near the eighth pole, then finished determinedly to get up. CAPITAINE chased the pace from the inner rail down the backstretch and on the far turn, moved to the two path in the stretch, finished gamely and just missed. WIN STREET stayed along the inner rail most of the trip, drifted in at the chute near the sixteenth pole and rallied mildly. SUN'S ARISING , between horses the far turn, swung outside in upper stretch and came up empty. THIRSTED set the pace near the inner rail, was clear in mid stretch and weakened late. REBEL PRINCE stalked outside horses, circled the fa turn three deep and weakened. POWER BY EIGHT drifted wide entering the first turn was no factor. CANDY A. P. , fractious in the starting gate, dropped back.
