Chart notes
ASTROLOGYSPROTEGE set a pressured pace, drew off entering the stretch for a clear lead and held off the late charge of NORTHERNREFLECTION to be all out at the wire. NORTHERNREFLECTION was slow early, swung wide entering the stretch, closed with a rush and was gaining fast late. PLAY MO raced close to the pace, dropped back leaving the turn, went evenly late and held for show. BREAKING STAR was in traffic most of the way along the backstretch, was steadied twice, bid along the rail on the turn and failed to rally once clear. CAJUN AMI raced outside, rallied three wide on the turn to loom a threat, dropped back and leveled off. OUR DETERMINATION saved ground to the turn, angled out, swung wide into the stretch and lacked a response. RANCH WATER vied two across, dropped back into the turn and stopped.
