Chart notes
SHE'S STORMING disputed the pace with WHICH WAY GRAY and BOLD APPEAL while three-wide and was up in the final sixteenth then came in slightly nearing the wire and won drawing clear. WITCH WAY GRAY vied for the lead from along the inside, then drifted out slightly inside the sixteenth pole and held on gamely during the drive. BOLD APPEAL vied for the lead from between horses, steadied inside the sixteenth pole and finished well in a good effort. COIN PURSE broke in to bump ASPIRATIONAL then was reserved off the pace, came four-wide into the stretch and went evenly late. ASPIRATIONAL was bumped at the started by COIN PURSE then saved ground while being unhurried and failed to seriously threaten. POSETIVELY PERFECT was in tight early between horses then settled in the back of the field, came five-wide into the stretch and was not a factor. MISS ESCAPADE was allowed to settle early, came three-wide into the stretch and failed to menace. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN BUT AFTER VIEWING THE FILMS MADE NO CHANGE IN THE ORDER OF FINISH.
