Chart notes
BALAM set the pace inside, was cued passing the quarter, dug in down the lane, and drew clear in the final furlong. TRUST THE WORD was reluctant to load, pressed the winning inner pacesetter, vied for the lead in the two path passing the quarter, got out-kicked in the final furlong, but held place. GLACIAL POWER stalked in the three path, was coaxed along from the two path around the turn, floated out to the six path in upper stretch, and kept on for show. JUDGE HERNANDEZ raced off the pace inside, steadied passing the three-eighths pole, the checked midway around the turn, and stayed on from the rail down the stretch. AMERICAN BEAR chased inside, was roused from the rail passing the quarter, and finished evenly in the two path down the lane. TIEMPOS BUENOS had a slow start, trailed in the two path early, was roused in the three path going by the quarter, fanned out to the seven path in upper stretch, and finished willingly while making no impact. CAN OF CORN was unhurried in the two path early but never threatened. STAY FROSTY tracked in the four path, was cued from the three path midway around the turn, but made no closing bid.
