JOE'S CANDY bobbled subtly leaving the gate, advanced between horses passing the eleven sixteenths marker, raced close up along the inside before chasing around the turn, moved out to the three path in midstretch, but go outkicked by nval outer foe in the final furlong then stayed on to re-edge show late. BANDSTAND vied two wide and outside of the eventual winner, dueled turning for home then faded leaving the furlong grounds.
