Chart notes
LINCOLN JAY vied for early command and took charge before the first turn, came under pressure from COLONEL BROCK for the run up the backstretch, battled with that rival until kicking clear in the final yards. COLONEL BROCK brushed inner foe at the start, vied for early command before opting to shadow three wide through the first turn, put heavy pressure onto LINCOLN JAY for the run up the backstretch, contested the lead in the upper stretch but faltered late. TAP MAN shadowed the pace along the inside through the first turn, continued to give chase as the margin towards the leaders increased, finished clear of the rest for the show award. TIZ A BUDDY was brushed by an outer foe at the start, settled off the pace in the two path, moved up alongside TAP MAN around the middle of the pack before the far turn, weakened in the stretch. O'RAVENNA raced off the pace, never threatened. ALFA SIETE was wide through the first turn, trailed throughout.
