Chart notes
EDDIECOYLE was reserved off the pace racing two-wide, rallied four-wide into the stretch, caught MELVINS LUTE at the eighth pole and bested that one in a stiff drive. MELVINS LUTE was forwardly placed racing three-wide, gained a slight lead nearing tje quarter pole, dueled for the lead from that point but wasn't quite good enough in a game try. ONEONTA vied for the lead racing two-wide to the eighth pole and held on fairly well for third. HALO'S VALOR vied with ONEONTA for the early lead from along the inside and tired. SIERRA SILVER HEEL saved ground while being allowed to settle and failed to seriously threaten.
