IN JUST MY HEELS broke on top and held a slim lead around the first turn, led the way under some pressure but remained nicely settled on top, came under a ride approaching the mid-way point on the far turn, quickly widened advantage, saved ground turning for home, responded willingly under steady encouragement and drew off to an easy score. FULL SPIRIT prompted the pace two wide in early stages, hustled along two wide going by the five sixteenths pole, was forced into the path of POPPERINA when STARWOOD drifted into path leaving the far turn, ran on gamely dueling for place and nipped foe for position on the wire. STARWOOD was forwardly placed around the first turn, stalked the top pair up the backstretch, came under right handed pressure three wide leaving the three eighths pole, drifted into the path of FULL SPIRIT who was forced into the path of rail running POPPERINA leaving the turn, ran on two wide down the lane and got nipped for place. POPPERINA tracked the pace in early stages, went to make a move along the rail at the quarter pole, lost path when STARWOOD forced FULL SPIRIT to the inside, steadied sharply, lost all momentum, shifted out wider in upper stretch but failed to move on. KANOJO reared and lost rider at the start, ran loose then corralled by outriders and walked off. THE STEWARDS POSTED INQUIRY AND TEH JOCKEY OF POPPERINA CLAIMED FOUR AGAINST STARWOOD FOR INTERFERENCE LEAVING THE FAR TURN, AFTER REVIEW STEWARDS FOUND STARWOOD GUILTY OF INTERFERENCE AND WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM THIRD TO FOURTH
