Chart notes
OWL dueled from outside, put a head in front at the quarter pole, edged clear from DEBBIES GETTINGHOT with a furlong remaining and padded the lead the last sixteenth. DEBBIES GETTINGHOT was reluctant loading into the gate, came away well and took a narrow lead over OWL early, lost command with a quarter mile left to run, could not keep up with the winner at the eighth pole but stayed on to secure second. HIGH KING tracked from inside, came under a ride on the turn, moved out in the lane and gained third. DE FACTO traveled three deep in mid-pack then off the rail up the backstretch, went two wide around the turn, angled out in the lane and kept trying to earn a minor award. HIT THE TRACK JACK stalked up close behind the leaders while crossing over to the inside, stayed on the rail through the turn, moved out a bit in upper stretch and failed to respond. DOING TIME traveled three deep at the rear then raced off the rail near the back in the opening stages, went two then three wide on the turn before angling to the rail at the quarter pole and failed to menace down the lane. FEELING LUCKY settled inside, chased two wide into the lane, angled out further in the drive and could not threaten. SEAVER WAY tugged between rivals briefly while traveling off the pace, turned loose by the rider and moved quickly two wide, asked right handed into the lane and weakened. OMISSION unhurried early between rivals at the back, checked crossing back onto the turn, angled to the inside trailing the field, eased out to the three path around the turn and was never a factor.
