Chart notes
DU MONDE tracked the leaders from the second flight to the far turn, rallied on the turn to prominence, angled three wide splitting rivals turning for home to engage the leader in upper stretch, dueled through the stretch and prevailed late in the drive. S J B EXPRESS pressed the pace from between horses from the half mile pole to midway on the far turn when he assumed command while still in hand, responded to battle the winner when challenged and was outfinished in the final yards while a clear second best. J SQUARED set the pace on a clear early lead, came under pressure at the half mile pole, continued on the lead under steady pressure to the five-sixteenths pole, could not go with the top pair and ran-on through the lane to hold the show. BORIS BADENOV reserved at the rear of the trailing trio for the first half, ranged up five wide on the final turn and failed to sustain his bid in the lane finishing evenly. FRAME UP prompted the pace from four wide to the turn, rallied to be well placed turning for home and flattened out in the stretch. FORT BLING was rank while racing in tight quarters along the rail for the first three-eighths, dropped to the rear of the field and was outrun coming home.
